Courses

The department of chemical engineering offers three courses including bachelor, master and doctor of chemical engineering. The bachelor and master courses were established since 2003 while the doctor course was found since 2010.

B.Eng

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering

Our course has been approved by the office of higher education and council of engineering. Our mission is not only provide students on the core-courses of chemical engineering but also analytical and problem-solving skills. In the recent course, we include distict courses on process simulation that is an important tool for engineering today. Our graduates have been working in many leading industrial companies.

M.Eng

Master of Chemical Engineering

In the master course, we offer advanced classes for chemical engineering including Advanced Thermodynamics, Advanced Chemical Reaction Engineering, Advanced Transport Phenomena, and Advanced Mathematics. Furthermore, students will also have a chance to take selective courses and conduct research thesis that interests them. In the coming semester (2014), the deparment will offer full financial supports for all qualified students (B.Eng GPA >= 2.5).

D.Eng

Doctor of Chemical Engineering

In the doctoral course, students will need to produce a high quality research and international publications before graduation. We offers broad ranges of research fields including reaction engineering, innovative polymer, renewable energy, separation and purification technology, process system engineering, and biochemical engineering. Up to now (2014), we have 8 Ph.D. candidates in the department. The two of them are granted with Royal Golden Jubilee Scholarship (RGJ, probably the best scholarship for Ph.D. studying in Thailand) from Thailand Research Fund (TRF). In the coming semester (2014), the deparment will offer full financial supports for all qualified students (B.Eng with honours or M.Eng GPA >= 3.3).
